John Fitzgerald Kennedy (JFK) was born on May 29, 1917 in Brookline Massachuettes to Joseph Kennedy and Rose Elizabeth Fitzgerald Kennedy. His family was of Irish descent and very politically active. JFK had 3 brothers, Joe, Bobby and Ted, and 5 sisters, Rosemary, Kathleen, Eunice, Pat and Jean Ann.
JFK went to The Choate Boarding School in Connecticut for high school. He graduated in June of 1935. He spent a short period of time abroad at the London School of Economics (LSE) before returning to the United States for health reasons later that same year. Upon JFK's return to the states, he enrolled in Princeton University in 1935. He then enrolled in Harvard University in September of 1936. JFK graduated with a B.S. cum laude in International Affairs in 1940 from Harvard. Subsequently, JFK enrolled in Stanford Graduate School of Business in 1940.
